Hi,

I am looking at building a tracking generator feature into this Spectrum analyser and I need some circuit details around the area of the second local oscillator (around 3.8GHz) which I have to extract and amplify as part of the design.

R3465 Tracking generator

I recently acquired an R3465 from ebay and very much like the unit.

Have you made any progress building a tracking generator for the unit??

FYI. Did you know that the R3561L CDMA Test source unit can function as a tracking generator for the R3465 Analyzer? Check ebay for these, I've recently picked up two of them for less than 200$ each.

Are you documenting your work??? I would like pictures of the internals of the R3465 if you have any.
