Just got house a few months ago, the Safewatch Pro system is up and
functional, being monitored by ADT.

The Sensor on one of the windows has a low battery (so says the keypad).
Sensors appear to be connected via wireless to an antenna station in the
basement.

How do I pull the little box off and replace the battery without breaking
something? That thing looks fragile and I don't see any obvious openings.

The system just says Safewatch Pro, I think it's a V20se.

Thanks.

The transmitter battery should be a CR123 Lithium 3 volt...you can buy them at most drugstores...retail...hmmmm usually around 6-8 bucks each. Door/window transmitters take 1, motions take 2.

When you open the cover it should send a tamper signal to ADT...also will make the keypad beep...code+off, code+off will silence the beep after cover is replaced.

Keep a few spares on hand. Once one transmitter batt goes bad it's an indication they will all start to go. Usually they last 3-5 years.

some window sensors are sealed and batery can not be replaced .If it is a 1"
square apox 3/8" thick mounted directly on glass the battery can not be
changed whole sensor must be changed. other wise there shoule be easy way to
open sesor and put in new litium battery.
Call ADT system should still be under warranty and they should handle for
you. Litiums usally good 3-7 years
