Adding a dimmer, and wiring polarities.

Hi, I bought some film lights which have dimmable fluorescent ballasts/tubes, 6 x 55w.

I have a DMX setup which allows the tubes to be dimmed but it's bulky (using port 2&3). The lights originally had an optional 'Analog controller" which you could plug into 'Port 5'. Port 5 has 4 cables running into it, does anyone know what the polarity of these cables would be?

1) Brown
2) White
3) Grey
4) Red

And how they would be wired to a dimmer? and what type of dimmer would be suitable?
