ADC -INPUT OVER VOLTAGE PROTECTION CIRCUIT

in my circuit i have given the 3.0v (pulsating DC) to ADC by using potential divider circuit.how can i give the input over voltage protection circuit using zener.
or
using schottky diode how can i give the input to ADC.
WHICH DIDOE WILL BE PROVIDE BETTER RESULT?

Both will work. In a different manner, but both will protect the ADC. Use whichever you want.
