I recently snapped the DC connector plug off of my Acer AC charger. I want to solder a new one on to avoid the need to buy a new adapter. Sounds simple enough, right?
Problem is this:
The Acer plug is 5.5mm OD x 1.7mm ID, and I cannot find this connector anywhere. Every thread hit I find points to this connector as being rare and hard to find as solder type end alone. I see full cords on Ebay with this plug type, but I would rather not crack the case on the adapter.
The connector length is important as well, since I don't want any hanging out of the jack. Anyone have an idea on where to find this thing?
