AB PLC Programming

Hello All:

I have aquired an AB SLC 5.01 PLC and am interested in learning its
programming. I would appreciate any pointers on where best to obtain
documentation and, how to access programming software.

I am hoping this device can be programmed (with ladder logic?) via a
PC. The only port on the PLC appears to be a phone jack - is it used
for program downloading?

Thanks for the info but it appears that no inexpensive programming s/w
is available so my PLC is going to have to sit a while longer. Anyone
want to buy it
