Hai,

I just received the USB osciloscop I ordered and it is a nice, basic, scope.

You can check the specifications on :

And you, of course, have no connection whatsoever with the people
making or selling this thing? (Which, from picture and description on
the website, looks like a real POS...)

LOL!

40KHz sample rate
Phenolic base PCB
USB cabled glued to PCB
RCA connectors for input
No input attenuator
10K input impedance
No AC coupling mode
Unlabeled status LEDs

Don't seriously expect anyone to buy this do you?

Dave.

It's probably better than my first oscilliscope.

I paid five dollars for it at the local radio club auction, I guess
it was the fall of 1972. Big and heavy, and no dc coupling and
certainly no triggered sweep. I'd be surprised if it had much
bandwidth beyond audio. Oh, you could see signals in the hundreds
of KHz range, but who knows how accurate the representation was.

It was awful, and I was glad to get rid of it (I gave it to a friend,
who took it home on the bus). But, it was really cheap, and
gave me a chance to play with a scope. Which set me up well for
a year or two later when I had the use of a real oscilliscope.

Unfortunately many people will buy it... thats the nature of economics now
days. You make it and they will buy it. Charge more and more people will buy
it.
