This is a little project I'm doing for my first year in electrical and electronics engineering.
You'll find the circuit diagram attached. I actually got it to work but i don't understand exactly. I understand how the 555 timer works and also the counter. but the thing I don't get is how the MIC works and how is the signal processed before entering the 555 timer. Could I have a detailed explanation please about the use of those capacitors and transistors just before the 55 timer?
