738 paradox alarm system error #2 problem

i have an alarm system . it has a 738 paradox board. the battery is new and power is stable. i am getting an error code #2 sever times through out the day. it will sound and then clear. it may be a power supply problem. looking for information on how to correct this problem. my local supplier will not provide any help to public.
has anyone had a problem like this before.

yep i know. they had no problem letting me buy a new sensor. and smoke alarm at different times. but can not provide any support. i know my system is old and may not be supported. still no help

How does your alarm work?
Do you have the code numbers and what they mean?

I had a Yale cordless alarm and zone 2 would always falsely trigger. Drove us mad.
Until I permanently evicted the spider living inside it!!

it works fine. I have a code that tells me that I may have a power supply prob. or the charger is un able to charge battery. or batt voltage is to high. I am thinking the psu is a problem. need to try and look into that.
the spec on the ac supply say 16.5vac out and I am reading 19vac. it may be just on the edge of a limit not sure.

Is there a problem with the voltage regulator on the board?
