A Powerful Solution in a Compact Footprint

The PICO-WHU4 comes in a 100x72-mm Pico-ITX form factor and provides high-performance computing through 8th generation Intel® Core™ i3/i5/i7 and Celeron® Processors.

Even though it is without board’s audio, RTC (real time clock), and triple display support providing an additional mSATA–ready mini PCIe slot in M.2 socket. PICO-WHU4 has the capacity to power various AI and edge computing applications.

The board is suitable for use in a wide operating temperature range - from 0°C to 60°c. It can hold up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM. The PICO-WHU4 is designed to address the increasing demands of embedded AI and edge computing by offering an I/O configuration that can combine with virtually every type of embedded system.

The board contains two Ethernet ports, two HDMI ports, and four USB 3.2 Gen-2 ports. It also contains two COM Headers supporting 232/422/485 serial port operations.

Specifications and Features

The PICO-WHU4 is powered by Intel 8th Gen “Whiskey Lake” UE-series processors with Intel Gen 9.5 HD Graphics (24 EU) and 15W TDP (configurable TDP of 12.5W to 25W). Available options are Core i3/i5/i7. It also provides 16 GB of 2400MHz DDR4 memory and SATA 3.0 power storage.

The board contains 2x Gigabit Ethernet ports (Realtek 8111G) with WoL for networking. Ports available include two HDMI 1.4b ports for up 3840 x 2160, 2x USB 3.1 Gen 2 host ports, 2x USB 2.0, SMBUS, I2C, LPC, eSPI, 4-bit DIO. It has several applications in smart retail and smart city infrastructure.
