In this tutorial article, we will learn to create a 3D traffic cone in SelfCAD, in a stepwise manner.
To make any INT, you should in particular pick a 3D modeling software to use in your endeavours. Right after picking the 3D design program, you would then start learning its tools and components.
In this article, we're showing the way in which you can make a 3D design of a traffic cone in SelfCAD. We picked SelfCAD as it's more easy to learn, and you don't need to have insight in that frame of mind to have the choice to use it.
Is it true that you are a fledgling 3D designer? Fear not. SelfCAD is here to deal with you. Could we start with a basic article, for instance, a traffic cone!

So, let's get started!!!
Step1: Go to shape generator and add a segment
First of all, from the generator category in the toolbar, select the shape generator. Set the number of edges to 4 and height to 10. Then click on the ‘+’ button to add a new segment. Set the top radius to 10, bottom radius to 30, number of edges to 30 and height to 100. After that, finalise the shape generator.
Step2: Inset the top face of the cube
Next, opt for the polygon selection and select the top face of the cube. Then go to modify and select the inset tool. Set the amount to 5.
Step3: Delete the circular face of the cone and select the circular intersection edge
Now, we will select the top face of the conical shape and delete it. Then opt for the edge selection and set the loop selection to true.
Step4: Fillet the intersection edge
Next, we will select the intersection edge of the cube and the cone in a loop manner. Then go to modify and select the fillet tool. Set the intensity to 3, level to 5, and profile offset to -0.5.
Step5: Fillet the vertical edges and add thickness to the shape
Now, select the four vertical edges of the cone and fillet them to an intensity of 3 and level of 4. Then, we will go to modify and select the add thickness tool. Set the thickness to 1.
Step6: Add edges on the body of the cone
Next, from the modify category we will choose the edit details tool. Click on the automatic loop finding. Then drag the top circular edge of the conical shape to the below to create another edge. After that, create another 3 edges adjacent to it in the similar manner.
Step7: Colour the object
Now, we will select the colour picker option and colour the whole object into orange. Then select the middle two alternative rings, using the face selection, as shown in the image. Change its colour to white.
CONCLUSION: THEREFORE, WE HAVE SUCCESSFULLY CREATED A 3D LAMP IN SelfCAD
We have made a basic traffic cone in a 3D modeling software utilising the shape generator and various other tools. We have 3D designed it with various tools of SelfCAD. You can likewise use a comparable method to make other 3D objects of your choice. Hence, we trust you find the tutorial article illuminating and supportive.
